Methodology to work between real and virtual environment

Master thesis proposal


Virtual Manufacturing is a supplier of lean-based production development services. We believe in and are willing to take on the challenge of combining technology, methods and hard work around production development in order to achieve results.


Problem description

In the current scenario when the process is planned, and offline programming is done. It gets commissioned on site. However, it has been verified before, we need to make some changes. These changes usually do not get synced back so we are looking into finding methodology to work between different simulation environments for seamless flow of information


Proposed Research Questions:

  1. Method or model to be used for Real and Virtual world synchronisation
  2. Trying to achieve multivendor integrations (ABB RobotStudio, Siemens Process Simulate and Delmia V5)
